Antiimmigrant activists are good at staying on message. They repeat again and again the same false charges, and over time these myths about immigrants become truth for some people. They will use things like immigrants do not pay taxes, they do not want to learn English or assimilate, they cost society more than they contribute etc. A wealth of material is readily available to dispel those and other myths about immigrants, studies that prove the myths to be unfounded.

But what about those who defend and work with immigrants? Are there myths about them as well? Indeed there are, and they are equally false. - Jim Claffey
